Mark grew up in the Midwestern USA, relocating one summer during his college years to sell books. After many doors closed to him (literally), he encountered a believer who shared the Gospel with Him and led him to receive Christ. Mark joyfully grew in his faith and eventually began a career as a masonry and concrete contractor. His passion for the church in developing countries led him to participate in many overseas trips, serving through building projects and sharing encouragement with local believers. Mark continues to build disciples through intercessory prayer, mentoring in his business, and serving on the LeaderSource LeaderCare Team.

Patty came to know Jesus at age 19 through reading the Bible. This experience left her with a deep appreciation for the Word the God and desire for every believer to have access to the Scriptures and their transforming power. Her passion has always been Matthew 9:38: “Pray the Lord of the harvest that He will send out laborers into His harvest.” Patty has been active in serving the body of Christ through prayer, intercession and spiritual warfare for over 30 years. She has taught and written on intercessory prayer, especially as it relates to building leaders. She is active as an intercessor for LeaderSource and also serves on the LeaderCare Team. 

 

Mark and Patty live in Indiana. They have eight children and twelve grandchildren.
